Hi . Your concerns about the rising PSA are certainly understandable. While it may be a recurrence this does not necessarily mean spread beyond the prostate bed. Has the doctor mentioned a PSMA PET Scan? It is the gold standard in tracking recurrent prostate cancer (see: https://prostatecancer.net/clinical/psma-imaging-scan). There are plenty of men here who have had a recurrence and successful treated it. Our contributor Dennis wrote about his experience here: https://prostatecancer.net/living/biochemical-recurrence.
