Sometimes a Biopsy Doesn't Tell the Whole Story

My PSA went from 1.3 in September 2018 to 4.51 in January 2020. An MRI found 2 lesions PIRADS 3 and 4. A needle biopsy on 2/24, found 12 cores, 1 core <10% 3+4=7. I did a lot of research about 2000 pages worth. I decided on surgery, but COVID postponed for almost 3 months. I had surgery on 6/29. I read the pathology report Gleason score 4+3=7 stage 3 and the tumor was approximately 40% of the prostate. The biopsy either missed or that thing was on miracle grow. Just waiting on my post surgery PSA results and the journey continues.
