hi . Difficulty urinating following prostate cancer radiation is probably more common than you think. The primary cause is radiation cystitis. My flow was reduced during radiation treatment. My oncologist added Flomax to my regimen of finasteride and doxazosin at my request (flomax and doxazosin are both alpha blockers and generally not used together). I only took the flomax 2 days as I pretty much wanted it in case things got worse. After about a week following treatment I was back to normal.
