incontinence

I am 75 years old 5'8" 150 lbs and in excellent health. I live in a community with pickleball, excellent fitness facility, swimming pools, bike trails and walking paths. I use all these amenities every day. In 2013 I had my prostate removed. I suffer from ED and severe incontinence. SEVERE. I go thru 7 - 9 pads per day. My urologist has suggested implanting an Artificial Urinary Sphinter iin my scrotum. Has anyone on this forum had this done. Has anyone found another solution or partial solution to this problem? Kegels? Forget it. I've done enough of those for 5 men. Thank you!

  1. Hi . I can't personally speak on this, but I want to share these Forums on the artificial sphincter: https://prostatecancer.net/forums/artificial-urinary-sphincter and https://prostatecancer.net/forums/artificial-spincter-insertion-any-testimonies. Here is another one where a couple of procedures are discussed: https://prostatecancer.net/forums/artificial-sphincter-surgery. I hope there is some information here that is helpful and that others chime in with their thoughts. Best, Richard (Team Member)
