Hi . It is understandable that a PSA score of ten would be concerning. There are a number of things besides cancer that can account for an elevated PSA and this article goes into more detail: https://prostatecancer.net/diagnosis/psa-test. Are you seeing a urologist? I ask because a urologist can offer guidance on other screening tests that may be applicable to your case prior to a biopsy. I have also had a dre,by an aprn,she said I had a bad test and pointed to 4 rubber like prostate glands,which one was a bph.now they are going to give me an mri on July-16-25.

Yes ,i am now going to a urologist.but an aprn did my dre test.are aprn qualified to do dre.she has put me on an antibotic for a urin infection called cefdinir.
