relugolix (Orgovyx) how has it affected you?

Hi Michael, I’ve been on Orgovyx for 14 months with 4 to go. Side effects are present for sure but the most annoying is the hot flashes. No way of knowing when they come and I have a new respect for menopausal women. I took ground fax seed, acupuncture to no avail. I have recently tried CBD and it has reduced severity & frequency. I’m also assuming they all have similar side effects. Emotionally you’re going to have baggage. Hopefully you have an empathic significant other. I’m widowed so I’ve no input there

I've been on Orgovyx for about 10 months now. Alone, before chemo, it lowered my PSA from over 40 to around 12. And other than some mood chances, there was not much in the way of side effects. Those came with the chemo and the addition of Xtandi after chemo. Orgovyx appears to be one of the best ADT treatments available. I plan to stay on it long term, along with Xtandi for maintenance.

I have been on it for two months, just hot flashes that last 5-10 minutes a couple of times a day. I put on 10 lbs that it. I hope this helps.
