Six Month Follow-Up, 14 Year Survivor

This check up is routine. PSA been rising again since 2018. Now .332 ng/ml. No big deal. Did a PSMA scan this year -- found zero. Should be happy-trying to go to annual reviews-doc is not cooperating. No treatments since 2015.

But this one hits a little different for me. A life long friend (same age) also had prostate cancer, we shared the exact same level at diagnosis. T3c. Going to his wake this week end.

We had similar treatments. Mine has worked so far--his did not. Makes you think and count blessings-really wished he had the same results.

  1. This whole business is a wake up call on so many levels. If PCa has any benefit it gives you an appreciation for life along with a deep realization of the importance of loving those close to you . Dennis(ProstateCancer.net TEAM)
